Rev. Antonio M. Oliver

Rev. Antonio Oliver of Cairo, IL was born in 1976 to Faye Oliver-Alexander. He received his call into the ministry of Christ at the young age of 16 and was licensed to preach at First Missionary Baptist Church 12th St. in Cairo, IL. He studied under his pastor, Rev. S. W. Oliver for five years before being ordained in 1996. While ministering he served in youth pastor of the church, youth director of the Zion district and served in many other roles of service.

In 1998 Rev. Oliver married Mia S. Wright and to their union God blessed them with two young men, Bryon, and Absalom. In 2007 Rev. Oliver and his family moved to Columbia, SC where they became a members of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pontiac, SC where he also served as the associate pastor and worship leader for some time. Now as pastor of this great church he is leading the charge to reclaim what has been lost, recover what has been stolen from the enemy, and restore the joy of our salvation through Jesus Christ.

Rev. Oliver has spent a great deal of his life proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ under the POWER and ANOINTING of the Holy Ghost. His focus has always been less of him and more of Christ, standing on the word found in Ephesians 6:12-13; “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Rev. Oliver STANDS ON God's WORD with all his heart and love.
